A beautiful trail with purple-blazed tree-lined paths will lead you up the gorgeous path to the peak point to view beautiful Enders Falls, a local favorite for an afternoon walk. Enders Brook spills over a sequence of cascades, plunges, horsetails, and slides, the tallest of which is around 10 meters high. Cool off after a long walk in one of the five distinct waterfalls, separated by natural pools that are loved by anglers and swimmers alike.

Residents can access a nearby local dam called Saville Dam. It runs along the Farmington River and is accessible by walking for some close to their homes. Looking up along the reservoir, the entire scene is picturesque, and many decide to have their afternoon lunches here to take in the view. 

Along with these three beautiful opportunities, residents can also enjoy all that Salmon Brook Park, Farmington Canal Heritage Trail, Penwood State Park, and Tunxis State Forest have to offer. Southwick, MA is a beautiful community in the southwestern part of the state with just under 10,000 residents. After the war, the Newgate jail turned into Connecticut's first state restriction institution, and the structures on the surface, in various conditions of ruin, are all from the turn of the nineteenth century. Today a visitor center in the Old Guardhouse, with tours are given of the tunnels below, once known as evil to its prisoners.

A popular favorite in Granby is the Clark Farms at Bushy Hill Orchard; the farm has roughly 15,000 apple trees and grows peaches, nectarines, Asian pears, and blueberries. The farm offers a CSA Farm Share for residents and has a creamery open spring through fall, a bakery making a mixed assortment of delicious treats, and a farm-to-table cafe open for breakfast and brunch on the weekends! 

An old farm known as the Garlic Farm is a genuine organic farm known for growing garlic. The farm once only grew garlic starting out, but today they also host other produce, including carrots, chard, beets, leeks, tomatoes, peppers, winter squash, and plenty of herbs. An immense joy of the Garlic Farm is that the market is housed in a beautiful historic barn.

In addition to the Garlic farm, a quaint shopping favorite includes the Old Mill Pond Village, located in a series of old barns and outbuildings around a cute old pond. Items found at Old Mill Village include jewelry and accessories, furniture, kitchenware, pottery, outdoor furniture, yard decorations, and a great deal of much more.

The city of Granby truly offers its residents an array of excitement and opportunity with all the town includes.
